Module 14 — Trading Platforms
Your platform is where analysis becomes execution. MT4 and MT5 remain the retail standard for order handling, while TradingView is widely used for charting and level marking.
- Place, modify and close orders without hesitation
- Attach a stop loss and take profit at entry, not afterwards
- Switch timeframes quickly and cleanly
- Draw and save your levels so they persist between sessions
Practise these mechanics on a demo account until they are automatic. Fumbling an order in a live market costs real money.
Key concepts
- Platforms display prices and orders
- Order controls must be practised
- Charting and execution may use different tools
