How Gold Behaves
Module 11 — Support & Resistance on Gold
The official InstaSwich definitions apply to gold without modification. Support is any level where the price of an asset reaches, changes direction and continue to rise. Resistance is any level where the price of an asset reaches, changes direction and continue to fall.
What changes is tolerance. Gold overshoots levels more often than currency pairs do, so levels must be treated as genuine areas and confirmation matters even more than usual.
- Mark levels from H1, H4 and Daily as taught in the flagship course
- Expect wider overshoot; do not mistake a spike through a level for a break
- Round numbers are unusually significant on gold
- Prior session and weekly extremes are widely watched reference prices
Key concepts
- Official S&R definitions apply to gold
- Gold levels are areas
- Confirmation matters because overshoot is common
Practical example
Gold spikes below support, closes back inside, then continues higher—an illustrative reaction requiring controlled risk.
Common mistake
Calling every spike through a level a confirmed break.
